How to get to the Ross Reserve
The route to the Ross Biological Reserve is listed as one of the 6 best scenic roads of Indiana. The 15 minute drive from campus out to the Ross is part of the River Road Scenic Byway.

If you find yourself wanting to go for another hike in the area when we are not running any events, please check out Ross Hills park which is open to the public and adjacent to our biological reserve.

The address for the Ross Biological Preserve is: 451 S 875 W , West Lafayette, IN 47906. In case you lose service for whatever reason here are some directions. Once you're on River Road continue to drive west until you reach the Ravines Golf Course. Turn left where it says Ross Hills Park, then drive along the road and take a left immediately after the sign that says "Ross Biological Preserve". Someone will be standing on the driveway to help with parking. The image above shows where to off of River Road.
Parking at the Ross Reserve
The Ross Reserve has a short gravel road leading to parking. Proceed straight ahead to park in front of a field of experimental ponds, in front of the garage to the right, or across the road from the cabin on the grass. Do not park in the driveway of the cabin to your left when you first enter.
