Safety First!

While birding is not a dangerous activity, it is not without risks! On our birding events at the Ross Biological Reserve we do go for walks through the woods. There are changes in elevation on our easy and intermediate hikes. If you are looking for birds and not at where you're walking, it is possible to fall. Before we take off, everyone needs to read the rules and sign a waiver. The waivers will be available in person and online.

RULES

1. Do not go to the Ross Reserve without permission

2. Listen to the guides on the hike

3. Do not step off the path

4. Do not bother the plants

5. Do not touch any birds without permission

6. Be careful with hot coffee.
